How many members in your teams?

ForTube를 위해 일하고 있는 팀원은 얼마나 있습니까?

ForTube has one of the largest teams in the DeFi space, with about 40-60 members working full-time on the project. Many are headquartered in Beijing, working close with the growing Chinese DeFi community. Some are working overseas to help spread ForTube to a more international audience. Behind the scenes, we have a rich network of investors and institutions working to support the project.

What is the new evolution of DeFi and what types of DeFi services are worth investing in? What do you think the reason is? How can I assess whether a DeFi project is worth participating in?

This is a great question, and one that was addressed quite a bit at the recent DeFi summit we attended in Shanghai.  The new evolution is going to have more scalable solutions and offer compatibility for a more flexible range of assets. Ideally, throughput issues will be negated by technologies such as Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Ethereum 2.0. Projects that offer user-friendly solutions on scalable frameworks will benefit from incredible growth. Lending platforms like ForTube offer unique value where users can earn interest and rewards while borrowing assets for even more defi applications in a stable and secure environment.

The initial strategy was to establish itself as a global leading DeFi lending platform. What are you prepared for?         

보통 많은 프로젝트들의 초기 전략은 글로벌 선도적 인 DeFi 대출 플랫폼으로 자리 매김하는 것이 일텐데요, ForTube의 경우에는 어떻습니까?

ForTube has had remarkable success in the Chinese market and now we are looking to replicate that on a global stage. We believe that by working with top partners such as Huobi, Binance Smart Chain, Chainlink, and many others, we will be able to innovate quickly and improve on our platform’s strengths, leading to explosive growth

Right now, the entire space has seen incredible expansion, but we believe this is just a fraction of the potential. The FOR token is far below where it was a few months ago, the whole space is still really undervalued, presenting unique opportunity for early participants.

Due to the nature of the financial platform it can be easily expanded as the number of users increases, but security is mostly vulnerable. Security-related question I think that any project can be destroyed by weak security. As with all cryptographic implementations, programs implementing that algorithm are always far more vulnerable than cryptographic algorithms. In general, vulnerabilities or weaknesses that can be found in cryptographic solutions also occur in the blockchain. Are software programmers applying the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) process to minimize bugs?

금융 플랫폼의 특성상 사용자가 늘어남에 따라 쉽게 확장 할 수 있지만 보안은 대부분 취약합니다. 보안이 취약하면 모든 프로젝트가 흔들릴 수 있다고 생각합니다. 모든 암호화 구현과 마찬가지로 해당 알고리즘을 구현하는 프로그램은 항상 암호화 알고리즘보다 훨씬 더 취약합니다. 일반적으로 암호화 솔루션에서 찾을 수있는 취약성 또는 약점은 블록 체인에서도 발생합니다. 소프트웨어 프로그래머가 버그를 최소화하기 위해 SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle) 프로세스를 적용하고 있으시나요?

Security is of course an issue with any computing technology, but we have a lot of confidence in the security of our smart contracts and interfaces. That’s due to the fact that we have leading security experts including Slowmist and Peckshield audit our code before they go online. You can see the results of the audit on the website. This is of course after our team, which includes cloud computing architects and cybersecurity experts, write the code according to industry best practices.

I heard that you are about to enter Korea. What are your future plans?

A5.

Well to be honest, we have already ‘entered’ Korea, which is why we are holding this AMA. Our plans are to make the ForTube ecosystem (and the FOR token) as accessible as possible. Korea has always been a culture that was at the front of technology adoption, and we see them being really receptive to the expanding DeFi ecosystem. Even though culturally there are some differences, the ultimate objective of using technology to be more efficient with the assets available is universal. Once we get more exposure, we will continue to focus on different regions until FOR is one of the leading topics in the blockchain space.

솔직히 말해서 저희는 이미 한국에 진출하였기 때문에 이번 AMA를 진행하고 있습니다. 

저희의 계획은 ForTube 생태계 (및 FOR 토큰)를 가능한 한 접근 가능하게 만드는 것입니다. 한국은 항상 기술 채택에 열려있는 문화였으며, 확장되는 DeFi 생태계를 잘 수용하고 있습니다. 문화적으로는 약간의 차이가 있지만 사용 가능한 자산을보다 효율적으로 사용하기 위해 기술을 사용하는 궁극적인 목표는 보편화입니다. 저희가 더 많이 노출되면 FOR가 블록체인 시장의 주요 주제 중 하나가 될 때까지 여러 지역에 계속 집중할 것입니다.

 

Q6. 

It seems that the ecosystem is too difficult for beginners, but what would you say if you cut it down easily? 

초심자에게는 생태계가 너무 어려운 것 같습니다. 좀더 쉽게 설명 부탁드립니다.

 

A6.

This is a huge problem, and everyone knows it! Right now its hard for someone to go create a wallet, buy tokens on an exchange, send it to the wallet, and interact with dApps. This is gradually improving as the tools and exchanges we use become more effective. imToken is a great example of that, ForTube is available from within the mobile wallet, making it easier to get familiar with. DeFi mass adoption wont happen overnight, but we think the progress is there.

굉장히 어려운 문제입니다! 

현재 누군가가 지갑을 만들고, 거래소에서 토큰을 구매하고, 지갑으로 보내고, dApp과 상호 작용하는 등 이 모든 과정을 통합시키는 것은 매우 어렵습니다. 

이것은 저희가 사용하는 도구와 거래소가 더 효과적이 됨에 따라 점진적으로 개선되고 있습니다. 

imToken은 그 좋은 예입니다. ForTube는 모바일 지갑 내에서 사용할 수 있으므로 익숙해지기 쉽습니다. 

DeFi의 사용사례의 증가는 하룻밤 사이에 일어나지 않을 것이지만 저희는 진전이 있다고 생각합니다.

We know ForTube has a close relationship with Binance smart chain. Like this, is there any plan to expand multi-chain platform in near futures?

We always look at technologies that improve the ForTube user experience. For us, Binance Smart Chain was an easy decision since it made it faster and cheaper to interact with our smart contracts. We are also looking at other chains, but they need to provide ForTube with some benefits, such as access to a wide user base or unique assets. Maybe our Korean community can help with that, by letting us know which technologies or assets they are most fond of 🙂

How would your country change if everyone, regardless of age, could vote?

A8.

Haha, an off-topic but nonetheless interesting question. To be honest, the geo-political situation around the world is very complex right now, and we’ve seen examples of voting systems that are very effective, and voting systems that aren’t. China is very united currently by the response to the COVID19 situation, where we have managed to stop the spread of the disease entirely by a concerted effort to wear masks in public, use hand sanitizer, and respect quarantines. I think if everyone was given a vote, there wouldn’t be any drastic changes, as people prefer the current situation to the instability in the US. Long-term, hard to say, but actually every Chinese person can already vote if they buy FOR and stake it on the governance portion of ForTube 😄

ㅎㅎ, 이번 AMA 주제에서 벗어난 질문이긴 하지만 그래도 흥미로운 질문이네요. 솔직히 말해서 현재 전 세계의 상황은 매우 복잡합니다. 

저희는 매우 효과적인 투표 시스템과 그렇지 않은 투표 시스템의 예를 보았습니다. 

중국은 현재 COVID19 상황에 대한 대응을 하고 있으며 마스크를 쓰고 손 소독제를 사용하고 위생을 위한 공동 노력으로 질병의 확산을 막고 있었습니다. 

모든 사람이 투표를 한다면 현재 상황을 선호하기 때문에 큰 변화는 없을 것 같습니다. 장기적으로, 확신하기는 어렵지만 실제로 FOR 토큰을 구매하고 ForTube의 거버넌스 부분에 지분을 걸면 투표 할 수 있습니다 :D

 

Q9.

Could you tell us what are the obstacles to building a FIAT gateway?

FIAT 게이트웨이 구축의 장애물이 무엇인지 말씀해 주시겠습니까?

 

A9.

Well, regulations. Its very difficult to handle being a Fiat gateway from a compliance standpoint, and that wouldn’t be a very efficient use of our resources. That’s why even top exchanges haven’t quite perfected the fiat gateway. We don’t want DeFi to be a tool for money-laundering and illegal activity. However, that’s not to say it (Fiat Gateway) won’t ever happen. The beauty of DeFi is that so many different components function together, it’s not hard to imagine a future where fiat gateways will be more common in decentralized ecosystems. First we need some more tools though, like decentralized identities, decentralized oracles, etc.

아무래도 규제이겠죠? 규제 준수 관점에서 FIAT 게이트웨이를 처리하는 것은 매우 어렵고 리소스를 효율적으로 사용하지 못할 것입니다. 

그렇기 때문에 최고의 거래소조차도 법정 화폐 게이트웨이를 완벽하게 완성하지 못했습니다. DeFi가 돈 세탁 및 불법 활동을 위한 도구가 되는 것을 원하지 않습니다. 하지만, 결코 일어나지 않을 것이라는 말은 아닙니다. 

DeFi의 장점은 매우 다양한 구성 요소가 함께 작동한다는 것입니다. 분산 된 생태계에서 법정 화폐 게이트웨이가 더 일반적이 될 미래를 상상하기란 어렵지 않습니다. 먼저 DID, 탈 중앙화 된 오라클 등과 같은 도구가 더 필요합니다.

What is the differentiated competitiveness of ForTube?  

ForTube의 차별화 된 경쟁력은 무엇입니까?

 

A10.

What is our selling point? I think we have a few: One is security, where we’ve never experienced a hack or exploit where user funds were affected. Another is we are multi-chain, which makes us usable from both Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum. A third big thing is that we have pools for a lot of less common assets, like DeFi tokens, Filecoin, and the hTokens from Huobi. This makes ForTube unique, in that you can use us for services you cant’ find elsewhere. Come try us out, I recommend giving BSC a shot.
