Could you explain more about your marketplace? Can I sell my own NFTs in Glimpse marketplace? Are there any certain requirements for users who want to buy and sell their NFTs in that marketplace? Why was blockchain important to bring Glimpse ? What problems are you going to solve in this ecosystem?

There's 2 side to that equation. For sellers we make uploading videos and tokenizing them, what we are calling ‘Glimpses’, just as easy to use as any other traditional centralized platform. Simply upload the digital file, fill in the necessary info to describe the video, and post it to your profile! Your followers and close network will be automatically notified that you posted a new NFT! Anyone can create a profile and list NFT's on their account - but we only expect 'verified' users who have large followings to actually demand consistent monetary value.                 

For buyers - just as you may follow your favorite singer, athlete, artist etc. on a traditional social media platform, you’ll have a similar setup on Glimpse. Your feed and updates will be curated based on the people that you follow directly, people in your close network, as well as based on your past purchase history/interests. If you see a video you would like to purchase, simply be the highest bidder at the end of the auction and the NFT is yours! 

Users can easily collect an assortment of NFT’s or create a larger, even rarer collection of similar NFT’s that they wish to resell at a later date for a profit. Users with a certain amount of $GLMS will also be able to swap out older NFT’s for newer ones, so they can continue to own new exclusive content without having to continuously purchase/resell.                                              

Allowing fans/followers to buy tokenized digitally unique videos from their favorite stars, trade them, swap them, and in the future take loans on them is only possible because of blockchain technology and how Glimpse is applying it!

Love this question! There are A LOT of NFT marketplaces out there - and they all seem to be doing slightly different versions of the same thing. Glimpse on the other hand, is much more of a social network than it is a marketplace! We are focused on allowing creators to upload short videos of their personal life (similar to videos/images uploaded to TikTok/Instagram) and tokenize it as an NFT to be sold as a digitally unique item to a single fan. Compared to other marketplaces that are focused on digital goods only - we are focused on using NFT's to verify digital ownership of truly unique moments of our creators personal life - a double bonus!                                                                                                                        

As a social network, we are also catering to the masses. This means we are focused on lowering the barrier of entry for non-crypto/tech savvy users who don’t even know what Ethereum is. An example of this is through our partnership with Banq, who will allow users to purchase NFT’s on our platform with their debit/credit card! For Glimpse, one thing is clear - The future of social media is creator owned content - and we are going to be the first platform to provide this!

What are the advantages of holders with Glimpse tokens? Will the NFT market not only use the Glimpse token, but also introduce a DeFi system?

The GLMS token is an essential part of the Glimpse ecosystem. Users have an opportunity to earn GLMS tokens simply by using the Glimpse platform for simple actions such as commenting, sharing, and liking content posted by others. These rewards are allocated from our ecosystem fund.                                                                                    

GLMS is a utility token that functions as the primary method of payment on the Glimpse platform. Additionally, GLMS is used to: receive discounts on in app purchases, staking for rewards and exclusive NFT drops, and as payment of any royalties a creator receives from the resale of ‘Glimpses’ they have created. Shortly after our first release, we will begin offering collateralized loans that will also be denominated in $GLMS and holders who hold a certain amount of our token will have access to premium borrowing terms.                                  

Users who hold GLMS will receive the benefits I mentioned above. From a purely price perspective, much of the increase in price will be dependent on our user base. We see a lot of dApps have a few thousand users and some of the more popular ones having hundreds of thousands or low millions. As a social media network - our success relies on us having hundreds of millions or even billions of users. That’s hundred of millions of users taking $GLMS coins out of circulation to use and interact with our platform. As a token with a fixed supply, token price will benefit from simple supply and demand.

We don't necessarily see Glimpse as a direct competitor to platforms like TikTok and Instagram who provide free content that users may scroll through for hours. Instead, we see the same users on these platforms adding Glimpse to their portfolio of social media platforms. For example, someone who follows a well known influencer on TikTok may be interested in owning a video they really loved from that particular creator - and go to Glimpse to purchase it. At this moment, we have built our content creator network to a combined following of 100M users. Chris Barnett, the first creator to sign with Glimpse, has over 4M followers alone! Our network is building on itself organically as creators are excited about the value proposition we offer to them and their fans - they see it as a WIN - WIN. Glimpse will be running an ambassador program, however it will begin after the IDO on September 6th. We see a lot of projects that try to hype people up by rolling out an 'ambassador' program before launch only for the project to fail shortly thereafter as they had no strong plans to convert 'ambassadors' into actual users of the platform. However, we do see well thought out ambassador programs helping products gain traction very quickly - and this is exactly what Glimpse plans to do. We recently brought on John Hrzic, who was responsible for running the ambassador program for TikTok when they were becoming big in the United States. He will be working with Glimpse to build a strong program and influencer community in a very similar fashion to how he ran TikTok's campaign. The key focus for us it to connect with influencers and show them how Glimpse helps them better monetize their user base and connect with their fans. The feedback has been amazing, and we have partnered with some huge names on TikTok such as Chris Barnett, Eliana Ghen, and KallmeKris - who alone has over 30M followers, that over 10% of the entire United States!
