I am curious to know what inspired you to design Human Protocol and what area you are currently focusing on.

Human Protocol을 설계하게 된 동기와 현재 집중하고 있는 분야가 무엇인지 궁금합니다.

A1. 

I have a background in AI, and have been aware of the problems around data shortages. Particularly, data scientists do not have enough granular, detailed data to create unique products, or even to contribute to more generalized products. Secondly, the nature of HUMAN is multichain; the chance to build blockchain 3.0 - meaning a truly interoperable ecosystem for applications to run on - really inspired me. HUMAN work demands that kind of interoperability; it's in the very nature of the product we are building.

What is the HMT utility in the ecosystem? Where it will be used and why would the demand for HMT increase? Please tell us about your 2021 roadmap and beyond.

HMT is required throughout the life of a job. The Requester - for instance, an ML practitioner - must purchase HMT and prefund the smart contract in order to have data labeled. Then, the agent that ensure the data is safe for sharing, and prepared for the applications, must stake HMT behind their vote of 'safe' or 'unsafe'. The network of oracles that evaluate the Workers' answers are also rewarded with HMT for fulfilng that role. Finally, the Workers earn HMT for completing tasks. As you can see, there are many use cases of HMT in HUMAN Protocol.

I don't quite understand the data labeling that human talks about. Please explain it easily.

A3. 

A raw piece of data is an image of a road; labeling that data is the process of tagging the car, the crosswalk, the pedestrian. When you complete a CAPTCHA that asks: 'Click all the boxes containing a car', you are data labeling, you are labeling an image with 'car'. That label is essential for machines to understand what a car looks like, and therefore is the cornerstone of machine learning, such as driverless cars. Without labeled data, a machine would never know what a pedestrian is, or how to respond.

What exactly is Labor in Human?

Human에서 말하는 노동력(Labor)란 정확히 어떤 것을 말하는겁니까?

A4.

Good question, Labour is not the correct word to use here, we like to go with earners :) Any person that solves tasks on any marketplace that's built on top of Human Protocol is an earner - with out initial ML Market Place it'll be the data labellers / Quality Assurance people, As more marketplaces are added (Design/Insurance/Architecture etc.) It'll be people solving those specific tasks.

What is different about Human protocol from other protocols?

We are multichain natively, that gives us an edge over the existing competition.

Ideally, business logic would be built on top of technologies that serve the direct utility of that use case. At the moment, that’s not possible, and you have to build on a specific chain. With the HUMAN application layer we are building out, a business will be allowed to choose which chain they run various parts of their business on, like building blocks. They can choose Ethereum for one thing, Solana for another - and HUMAN would facilitate all the cross-chain token transfers, and the information transfers, which makes these micro services on individual chains possible.

So while we are building a technology that utilizes the second wave of L1s, it is really targeting utility on the application layer, on the business-logic layer. The third wave of blockchain will lead to a future where people shouldn’t care about what L1 a project is using. Just as, when you're using a Google product, you don’t care if there is PostgreSQL or MongoDB in the background.

Also our existing domain expertise in AI help to solve many of the major problems in the industry:

- Access to more granular unbiased data

- Cost correction on expensive data

- Data access to all: Universities / Researchers / Startup folk
