제 이름은 Alexei Kulevets이며 Walken의 CEO 겸 공동 설립자입니다.
Walken은 Solana 블록체인을 기반으로 구축된 무료 게임입니다. 스포츠와 NFT를 결합하는 동시에 걷고 움직이는 자연스러운 인간의 걸음에 초점을 맞춥니다. 실제 생활을 함으로써 플레이어는 보석을 획득하고, 이를 통해 게임 내 캐릭터인 CAThletes를 업그레이드하고 $WLKN 토큰을 획득하기 위해 경쟁합니다.

We're extremely grateful for all the immense amount of feedback from our beta testers and community - it helped a lot and was and is a driving force behinf the development and progress of Walken! It's been glorious 3 months of closed beta, and we're proud by what we've done and how the app evolved. We now have a stabilized application, operating both on iOS and Android, with operations on blockchain.

As for the differences, one worth mentioning is that there's no limits on the number of participants - everyone can join in, get their free CAThlete and have fun playing and earning. Next, players in public beta earn $WLKN tokens, not Beta Wlkn tokens (that were used in the closed beta). Moreover, the IEO is coming!
As for NFTs, we'll be selling a far greater number of them on the upcoming NFT sale.

Our CAThletes are truly unique as they are generated from lots of different parts / genes. So not only their stats but also the looks are unique. And they have names, absolutely unique! You won't find two CAThletes with the same names. More than that  - you can get some items and clothes for your CAThletes and it will give you some stat boost and a possibility to win even more competitions.

Let's dive in a bit: each CAThlete is generated with a unique set of genes that determine their appearance, stats, and rarity. The values of the stats significantly affect the chance to win in a particular running discipline. Every time a CAThlete’s level increases, its characteristics — strength, speed and stamina — also grow.

There are different ways to get your NFT CAThlete: 
- buy a lootbox at the Marketplace (Official NFT sale is coming soon, please follow the news) 
- everyone will get a free CAThlete at the start but to make it an NFT you'll need to upgrade him to level 6 by walking and participating in competitions
- you can get clothes or a CAThlete from other users at our Marketplace. 
- we'll also introduce a breeding feature pretty soon

Yes, absolutely. Walking and getting Gems as reward for steps is the M2E component in the game.
But to earn tokens, players must compete in the game - that's P2E.

So, let me explain how it works. By walking in real life, players earn gems, with the help of which upgrade their in-game characters — CAThletes — and compete to win $WLKN tokens. In turn, the tokens can be used to upgrade a CAThlete’s level (and stats) or buy NFT-items on the Marketplace to get extra stats points and win more competitions.The gameplay focuses on upgrading CAThletes and taking part in running competitions to win $WLKN tokens.

Every time a CAThlete’s level increases, its characteristics — strength, speed and stamina — also grow. Thus, the more a player walks in real life, the higher the stats of a CAThlete get, the more often it wins in competitions, earning more $WLKN in the long-run. That's a mix of M2E and P2E!

As for sustainability. The basic idea is to reward the players who are active participants on the game economy, and “punish” dumpers, who sell the token as soon as they get it. Our goal is to make the gameplay exciting and give players many ways to spend the token in order to make more money. If we do it properly, there will be a network effect of people playing and using the token, thus increasing token price.

We also plan to introduce a fist revenue component, where WLKN token can be purchased for fiat to create up pressure for the price.
